| Academic Degrees | Graduated in Sociology at ISCTE-IUL in 1995, she has a Master in Sociology of Labour, Employment and Organizations, also at ISCTE-IUL, obtained in 2000. She got her PhD in Sociology in 2007, with ‘praise and distinction unanimously’', simultaneously at the Université Lille 1 (France) and at ISCTE-IUL (Portugal). |
| Current Professional Activity | Since 1998, she participates in scientific research projects of national and European level. She is currently a Research Fellow at SOCIUS-ISEG from the Universidade de Lisboa (Lisbon University), under the Program Compromisso com a Ciência (Commitment to Science). She is also an Invited Assistant Professor at the High School of Health Egas Moniz. She teaches since 2000 in public and private institutions of higher education in various disciplines (industrial relations, sociology of professions, third sector and social economy, etcetera). |
| Domains of Research | The research activity has been focused in the area of professional associations and regulation, workers and employers associations, among others. She has a particular interest for the theoretical/methodological approach of Social Network Analysis. |
